Unlike many practices and spas who offer "hour" sessions that are actually 50 minutes with 10 minutes of time allowed for disrobing, getting re-dressed, and taking payment, our "hour" is the full hour, hands on!
We use lightly scented aromatherapy candles & oils, and many hypoallergenic/Paraben-free lotions. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, please let us know in advance and we will make sure to have the neccessary products available.
We offer the following modalities:
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)
Favored by today's athletes, massage therapists, personal trainers and professionals, AIS is a method of holding individual stretches for 2 seconds, allowing a maximal blood flow in and out of the muscles, which helps to increase the elasticity of muscle joint and fascia. The result is instantaneous and clients feel the benefits of Active Isolated Stretching both short and long term. Wearing loose fitting clothing is recommended.
